Bet Halev is...
Bet Halev is a unique and welcoming Jewish center located in Varkala, India. Here, Jews from all walks of life come together to nourish their souls and explore our shared heritage.
From September to March, we offer two delicious vegetarian kosher meals daily, engaging workshops, Shabbat and Chagim celebrations, and enriching Jewish spiritual teachings.
Our Mission
We are dedicated to providing comprehensive support for soldiers and individuals affected by the events of October 7th. As a former soldier who has overcome PTSD, I, Maayan, understand their needs and am committed to assembling a professional team to deliver the care they deserve at Bet Halev.
Thus Far
In our first two seasons, we connected with over 500 individuals each season, creating a home away from home for travelers seeking a Jewish community. As we prepare for the upcoming season, from Sukkot 2024 through Purim 2025, we are seeking supporters and partners to help fund this meaningful project.
